Patinter France has appointed Mário Luís Barata Garcia as its new Managing Director. He takes on the role with a clear focus on strengthening operational efficiency, improving service levels and supporting the company’s growth in the French market.
Mário Garcia holds a degree in Distribution and Logistics Management. He completed part of his studies in Warsaw through the Erasmus programme and attended the General Management Programme at Porto Business School. His professional background includes leadership roles in the textile, automotive and transport sectors, with a strong focus on operations and supply chain management.
Among the immediate priorities for the French operation are the improvement of quality and safety standards, the implementation of new training plans and the upgrade of driver support facilities. In the medium term, he plans to establish an in-house workshop to increase autonomy and reduce fleet downtime, as approximately 70% of the company’s vehicles pass through this location.
The strategy for 2024 includes expanding the client base, reducing operational costs and reinforcing sustainable practices, in line with the group’s core values.
