Patinter supports the transport of donated goods to communities affected by the storms

Patinter transported several tonnes of essential goods and construction materials to communities affected by Storm Kristin.

From the very outset, the company activated an emergency logistics response and placed its operational capacity at the service of the affected communities, in coordination with social organisations. The operation ensured a rapid, effective and coordinated response in a highly demanding context.

As part of this support, Patinter responded to requests from several entities, including Guide and Scout groups from different parts of the Viseu region and municipalities such as Nelas. A total of 45 pallets of essential goods, clothing and protective products were transported, along with construction materials needed for the immediate response on the ground. The operation also included the transport of more than 1,200 square metres of tarpaulins for the temporary covering of affected homes.

"Given the seriousness of the situation, Patinter immediately placed its operational capacity at the service of a response that required speed, coordination and a strong sense of responsibility. The commitment and availability of our teams were decisive to the success of this operation. When action was needed, there was an immediate and aligned response. It was this cohesion that allowed us to be on the ground with the effectiveness the moment required,” says Daniela Santos, Head of the company’s Social Responsibility area.

This action reflects Patinter’s commitment to supporting communities and territorial cohesion, values that are among the central pillars of its mission.
