Patinter Promotes Professional Inclusion of People with Disabilities

Patinter, reaffirms its commitment to social and professional inclusion by participating in the Supported Employment in the Open Market program, promoted in partnership with the Institute of Employment and Vocational Training (IEFP). This program aims to include people with disabilities in the job market, providing them with the opportunity to engage in professional activities and develop essential skills for their full integration into society.

For Patinter, the inclusion of people with disabilities is not just a matter of social responsibility but also an opportunity to enrich the work environment with a diversity of experiences and perspectives. "We believe that the professional inclusion of people with disabilities not only contributes to the development of a fairer and more equitable society but also strengthens our company. By integrating these individuals into our teams, we gain diversity, creativity, and cohesion," says Sónia Oliveira, Human Resources Manager at Patinter.

Over the past four years, Patinter has been an example of how the private sector can contribute to social inclusion, having already integrated several people with disabilities into various areas of the company. The success of this initiative encourages Patinter to further strengthen its commitment in the future, with plans to integrate even more people into the program.

The Supported Employment in the Open Market program aims to provide people with disabilities, and those with reduced work capacity, the opportunity to engage in professional activities under normal working conditions. Through this initiative, participants have the chance to develop personal, social, and professional skills that are essential for their full integration into society and the job market.
